The Three Graces Crowning Venus replicates the central group from Venus and the Graces Dancing in the Presence of Mars on a tempera painting and in sculptural relief by the great neo-classical sculptor Antonio Canova, showing the three daughters of Zeus and Euryonome: Euphrosyne, Aglaia and Thalia, dancing with Venus before Mars. Aglaia plays music on her lyre, to which all four women dance on points. Her two sisters delicately balance a crown of flowers above Venus’s head. 
Antonio Frilli (Italian, fl. 1880-1920) was a highly skilled marble sculptor working in Florence, Italy in the late 19th and into the early 20th century. He gave the marble statue the same remarkable appearance of weightlessness, transferring Canova’s lyrical fancy into three dimensions.

It is extremely important to us that each stone statue arrives whole and undamaged. We take utmost care in shipping and packing each item.

Our stone statues are packed in firm foam boxes for air shipment (small sizes, under 50kgs) and in strong seaworthy wooden crates (over 50kgs) for sea shipment to prevent damage during transportation. 

For items of small sizes and under 50kgs (or 110 pounds), air shipment is the best in terms of time as well as economy.

For items of bigger sizes and over 50kgs (or 110 pounds), sea shipment is most recommended in term of cost. Port to port shipping costs are often much cheaper than trucking costs even within the same country.
