Quan Yin Dragon story?

Avalokitesvara or Quan Yin/Kuan Yin/Kwan Yin is an important Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, embodying the compassionate spirit of Buddhism. The Shakyamuni Buddha praised the many deeds of Guanyin Bodhisattva, in which He especially mentioned that if anyone was swept away by a storm on the sea but prayed to Guan Yin Bodhisattva, She would come to save them.

In Vietnam, folk circulated the legend of Quan Yin Dragon with the story of Dieu Thien Princess, the third child of Dieu Trang King of Hung Lam. She wanted to lead a Buddhist life but was hindered by her father, imprisoned and was tortured. After that, the princess was saved, practiced Buddhism in Huong Tich mountain and was tested by the Buddha many times. After 9 years, She attained enlightenment with the name of Eastern Sea Kuan Yin or Kuan Yin on dragon.
